Health Profession Resource Center (HPRC)

The HPRC is for students who are pursuing a professional school after receiving their degree from MSU. The HPRC helps student beware of the admission process for different professional programs and are available to help advise on professional program paths.

The Learning Center

The Learning Center supports Mississippi State University students in improving academic performance and in enhancing lifelong learning skills. The Learning Center offers diverse services to graduate and undergraduate students which include academically enhanced university credit courses, support programs, workshops, seminars, tutoring services, academic coaching, and state of the art technology labs. Open to all university entities, these services promote academic excellence.

Student Support Services houses the TRIO Program and Disability Support Services. The TRIO Program provides supportive services for low income and first-generation students. Disability Support Services aids, support, and accommodations for students with disabilities.

Center for America’s Veterans

The Student Veterans Association is a student led organization comprised of veterans, service members, dependents, survivors and other military supporters. We work to help the military affiliated students at Mississippi State University and our community through social events, fundraisers, community service projects, fitness programs and provide several other support services.

To address the financial needs of prospective and enrolled students in a manner that is equitable, courteous, consistent, comprehensive, and confidential, and that enables student access to Mississippi State University, facilitates enrollment of all eligible students, and encourages student success.

Career Center

The career center is available for students to receive help with making a resume, interview processes, finding a career path. The career center has career assessments to help students discover which career field is best for them. At the career centers students can receive help with monk interviews, signing up for job shadowing, and volunteering.

Student Counseling Services

MSU offers a counseling service for students who need someone to talk to. The counseling service is there to help students who are struggling through the semester regardless of the situation. The counseling center has different ways for students to connect with a counselor so that students feel comfortable.
