Dr. Basil Nikolau to Present Seminar

Dr. Basil Nikolau is the Frances M. Craig Professor of Biochemistry at Iowa State University where he has taught and conducted research since 1988. Dr. Nikolau's research interests focus on the biochemistry and molecular biology of biotin and biotin-containing enzymes and the regulation of plant lipid metabolism.

He is also Director of the Center for Metabolic Biology; Director of the W.M. Keck Metabolomic Research Laboratory, Deputy Director of the NSF Engineering Research Center for Biorenewable Chemicals, and Division Director of the NSF Molecular and Cellular Biosciences.

He will present a seminar, "Triangulating GxE = P" at 3:45 pm, Monday, April 29, in the Fowlkes Auditorium of the Colvard Student Union on campus.
